  • No one can ever have enough keshi pearl necklaces. They always elicit compliments because they always look chic and yet interesting. I usually describe them like wearing a comfortable ruff.

  • I have used three strands of slightly smaller but thicker keshi pearls (10 mm) and one strand of 13 mm Keshi pearls. The variety in size and shape gives the necklace added texture.

  • The four strands feed into handmade, etched sterling silver beads (10 mm) made by the Karen hill tribes of Thailand. This is a very pure silver, using 98% silver.

  • A silver toggle clasp has been used because toggle clasps are easy to use and secure. My silver name label is attached at the clasp. The clasp has also been made by the Karen hill tribes, of twisted silver wires to create a rope design.

  • The necklace comes, like all my necklaces, with its own colour co-ordinated silk brocaded pouch bag, made by a Shanghai tailor.

  • Length 43 cm.
