  • Charming well work sterling silver pendant (3 cm, by 3 cm by 9.7 mm deep), inlaid with turquoise, and crafted in Afghanistan; 

  • The sides, of the silver has been carved, while on the back, there is more pattern; 

  • Eight, intricately worked, silver beads (15 mm x 15 mmm), in a purse shape design, made by the Karen hill tribes in Thailand;

  • Karen hill tribe Fair Trade silver is nearly 98% pure silver; each piece is like a miniature bit of sculpture, individually crafted and created; 

  • Artisans in Northern Thailand produce this unique silversmithing in small villages, involving whole families in the process; Their work is fairly paid, and as a result, their beads are much more expensive; But a family is supported and wonderful beads and jewellery are produced in high quality silver;

  • Alternating between the silver beads, there are carved turquoise beads (10 mm), in a lotus design;

  • Turquoise beads (5.5 mm) are at the back of the necklace to ensure the necklace lies flatly;

  • Toggle clasp is also made by the Karen hill tribes, using twisted silver wires to create a rope design; toggle clasps are secure and easy to use; my silver name label is attached at the clasp;

  • Length 44 cm with 3.5 cm pendant drop;
