  • Deeply carved jadeite fan is of a good apple green, slightly leaning to spinach colour; It is so well carved you can imagine the fan closing;

  • The fan symbolizes grace, scholarship and kindness; Its decoration has been carved with the branch from a cherry tree, a reference to beauty and femininity; At its widest, the fan is 6 cm, narrowing to 8 mm. and 5.5 mm deep

  • Carnelian bead (10.5 mm) tops the pendant, which hangs on 6 mm aventurine beads.

  • Vintage, 18 ct gold on silver on hardened resin beads, handmade in Afghanistan (14 mm): Traditionally made, using ancient techniques, these are now rare beads; When Alexander the Great came to Afghanistan in 330 BC, his people brought many skills, one of which was working in gold;  Like the Romans, centuries later, a yellow, 18 ct gold was used; One of the techniques was to take sheet gold and work it onto hardened resin and then decorate it accordingly; this handiwork and the yellow gold colour give the necklace warmth and character and complements the gems;

  • Two vintage, hand carved jadeite beads (14 mm);

  • Two vintage, carved barrels of calcified nephrite jade 12 mm x 16.5 mm).

  • Vibrant jadeite beads (14 mm)

  • Flanked by rock crystal cylinders (28 mm x 15.5 mm).

  • Paler green jadeite beads in the form of a puzzle ball, or a ball within a ball (15.5 mm)

  • Bone cylinders (13.5 mm), etched in green and red.

  • Soft, apple green jadeite beads (14.5 mm)

  • Vermeil toggle clasp; Name label is attached at the clasp.
